Code of Conduct
Welcome to Newport on the Levee! All of our buildings
are privately owned. We reserve the right to define the rules of conduct
acceptable to us in order to allow you onto our property. We have listed below
some of the rules for the information of our guests. Upon any violation of this
Code of Conduct, you will be requested to leave Newport on the Levee
immediately. Please enjoy your visit with us and if you have any questions,

Golden Rule
Newport on the Levee is a destination intended for safe entertainment, dining and
shopping. While here, treat others as you would like to be treated. Rude or
discourteous behavior, standing, walking, sitting, or congregating in large
groups, which may cause inconvenience to others, obstruct the common areas of
the Levee, or interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of these premises, including
discouraging or blocking access to any tenant’s premises, is not permitted.
Respect For Others
Disorderly or disruptive conduct is prohibited including: use of obscene or
insulting language/gestures, running, yelling, fighting, boisterous behavior,
throwing objects, littering, playing radios, unauthorized singing or dancing,
musical instruments and performing, skating, skateboarding, or rollerblading are
not permitted. Newport on the Levee reserves the right to have patrons,
including children and teens unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian, leave
Newport on the Levee when they exhibit behavior such as: collecting or standing
in crowds (consisting of groups larger than four), tending to obstruct the free
and uninterrupted passage of the public, or for any illegal or mischievous
purpose; loitering, individually or in groups, evidencing no legitimate shopping
behavior. Under no circumstances will threatening or
intimidating language or behavior, including, but not limited to, use or display
of weapon or other dangerous objects be tolerated.
Parental Escort
All children and teens under 18 years of age who are at Newport on the Levee
after 6 p.m. must be under the supervision and control of a parent or guardian
(21 or older), who must have visual contact with the child or teen. A parent or
guardian may not escort more than six children or teens under the age of 18.
After 6 p.m., unaccompanied children and teens under the age of 18 who are here
to attend the movies must proceed directly to the theatre and not remain in the
common areas of the Levee. Youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a
parent or guardian (21 years or older) to attend films starting after 9 p.m.
Photo ID
To enforce the rules applicable to minors, we require all patrons on our property
to carry appropriate photo identification with proof of age.
Soliciting
Soliciting, picketing or rallying, conducting surveys, distributing literature,
offering any items for sale, soliciting signatures or personal information of
any kind (including names, phone numbers, etc.), or unauthorized photography and
videotaping is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of
management. All professional photography or photos of venues must be approved by
Property Management. This restriction also includes the news media.
Appropriate Attire
Appropriate attire must be worn when visiting Newport on the Levee. Items with
obscene, suggestive or offensive messages are not permitted. Shirts and shoes
are required at all times. No undergarments may be visible. Pants must be worn
with the waistband at the waist line. T-Shirts may not extend more than 6 inches
below the waist line if worn outside the pants. No swimwear or overly revealing
clothing may be worn.
Loitering
Loitering for the purpose of disturbing the peace or any unlawful purpose,
disrupting the shopping enjoyment of customers, or disrupting the intended
business use of the shopping center is not permitted at Newport on the Levee.
Loitering includes inactivity, blocking access, hindering movement, failure to
move to a dining, entertainment or retail venue.
Vehicles
Sitting in vehicles on the property is not allowed. We reserve the right to
remove unauthorized vehicles which present a safety hazard or are parked
overnight.
School Hours
All persons under the age of 18 are expected to be in school during school hours
and must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian when school
is in session.
Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted inside the main Gallery Building. Smoking is only
permitted outside. Please see individual venues for their smoking policies.
Pets
Only animals trained to assist physically challenged persons or police K-9 units are permitted on Levee property.
Please be guided by this Code of Conduct during your visit. Violate this Code of
Conduct and you will be directed to leave.
